Exclusive - Seems that the inability of Mai Ezz El-Din to co-star with the singer Tamer Hosni his new film (The Light of My Eyes) or (Nour Oyouny,)0 because she is busy filming her next Ramadan drama series (The Case of Safiya) or (Qadeyet Safia) has sparked a fire and a fierce struggle between Zeina and Menna Shalabi after the competition to co-star alongside Tamer Hosni came down to the both of them.

Zeina was the closest to win the role since she was nominated as second candidate after Mai Ezz Eldin until producerMohamed Al Sobky turned the table around by sending the screenplay to Menna Shalabi who expressed her initial willingness to play the role.  This choice was welcomed by the film's director Wael Ehsan, however the final say remains for Tamer Hosni himself as the star of the Movie a fact that will cause the current crisis to extend even further in the midst of the journey to find the heroine of the film.  Shooting is scheduled to begin in mid-February to prepare the movie for screening during the summer season.
